Mylink defaults back to Bluetooth after phone calls

I just bought a 2016 Silverado LT Z71 with MyLink and I have my iPhone 6 paired to it. I typically listen to XM radio but if I make any type of phone call over Bluetooth it automatically defaults back to Bluetooth and not whatever I was listening to. Never had this issue with my last truck and I'm finding it very annoying. Anybody know how to fix this?

It might be an IOS issue or it could be the Intellink. My 16 phone calls function properly over Bluetooth but I have an Android phone. I have had a couple of other issues with losing pairing and my iPod locking up. I'm guessing that there are glitches in the system-new hardware and software again in 16. On my 2014 the dealer updated my system and created numerous issues that they couldn't fix and they couldn't take my system back to the original software. So my advice is to be cautious and if possible wait a while before asking the dealer for an update.

You have Apple Car play so how does it work USB? You may not want the hassle of connecting that way?

GM is starting to act like MSN with Windows...get the product out and let us be unwitting Beta testers.

I have 2015 LTZ and is doing the same thing. I have it at the dealer for reflash with no change. I believe it is an Apple problem as it never did this before the newest phone update. Although this problem does not exist with the same phone on my wife's Infinite EX 35.

There is a work around for iPhone users... Disable SIRI and the system will operate normally. You will lose SIRI until Apple fixes the OS.

I dont have SIRI enabled and it still does this.

Started doing it with my iPhone 5 when I went to IOS 9.21 and now it does it with an iPhone 6 I just got which is also on 9.21.

I know this is an older thread but iOS 9.3 fixes this.

I just upgraded to 9.3 and this did not solve my issue.

Any suggestions?
