2016 Silverado LTZ Grill Swap Help

My dad just pulled the trigger on a 2016 LTZ Crew Cab. We are going to switch out the ugly LTZ grill for a High Country Grill. I did this same mod on my 2015 LTZ. I can't seem to find any part numbers or forums speaking to swapping out a 2016 Silverado Grill.

 

Has anybody made a grill swap on a 2016 yet? Does anybody have a part number for the high country grill that fits a 2016?

Have you checked with your local dealer, and talked to their parts department? They could find the part number, and give you a price qoute on it.

Have you heard anything on this? A dealer told me today that its not just a grille swap, but you have to buy new headlights too? I assumed the painted part around the headlights was removable, not all one piece. If that's the case, that will add significant cost to the project...

Yes the chrome on the headlight isn't removable but, as long as you're going LTZ to HC it should be all chrome I think.

 

To the OP if you wind up doing the swap let me know if you want to sell the LTZ grill I'd like to swap it into my LT.

I'd love to swap with someone that has an Iridium truck for my chrome stuff but, the truck looks good either way.

I got the part# from a dealer: 23420797. The dealer price is a staggering $651.90. So far I haven't found these anywhere on the internet but I will keep looking.

On a note about the high country grill, in a 2016 LT, is the headlight chrome different, or just part number different? You can see the headlights in side are a little different. But I couldn't see grill configuration as being different, how about someone make the 3 trim bars that can be bolted in a LT grill. Think about that ,

It's been a few months ,,,has anyone found out if a high country center grill section will work in an LT, thinking of going to a dealer and see if they would remove one if I already had mine out to try,,in Ohio if anyone has any answers ,, thanks
