Headlight bulbs on a 2016 Silverado 3500 HD

What bulbs do the 2016 Silverado 3500 HDs use on the headlights and fog lights?

I think they may be different than the 2015s were. I have to say my new High Country has exceeded my expectations in every way, except the poor lights on low beam.

High beams are fine, low beams not as good as my 08 Silverado were.

I am used to good lights as my car has factory HIDs but I am leery of putting an aftermarket HID kit in because a tech on one site told me I may have trouble using the auto setting on my switch. I would like to try LED bulbs and I would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

I put the HID kit in and have no issues with the AUTO setting. They are great.

I like the lights in my '16, they seem slightly better than my '15, but that just might be because the truck sits higher and they could be aimed out slightly more. Hard to tell for sure.

But the fogs are just too low and too narrow for my liking. I understand why they are that way, but I would prefer a wider beam.

I won't be buying any HIDs any time soon.
