I am curious as to why you say Duratracs aren't AT's?

It doesn't matter a great deal but when I go to a Fountain Tire, they call them all terrains and they are very similar to BF AT's in spacing. I have never seen a mud tire rated for winter......

Because they aren't, they are a hybrid and classed as such. Toyo RT, Cooper ST, ect.

I got Toyo 265/75/20's installed today. The ride is a whole lot stiffer, like i expected. I only drove a few blocks with them so far.

Just my opinion. I feel it's more of a hybrid type tire as the Toyo RT is between the Toyo AT and MT's. Don't get me wrong. I still feel it's an awesome tire. I just don't classify it as an AT that's all. Ridden in vehicles with both the KO2's and Duratracs. Duratracs had more road hum and a bit more vibe/rumble at slower speeds.

For what it's worth I am running KO2's right now. Super tire in all climates. Amazed me in snow how well it drove. In April truck is scheduled for a 6" lift and 35's and I'm gonna try out the Toyo RT's. More aggressive look and ride.

But as I said it's simply just my opinion...and we all know what opinions are like! ; )

You're gonna be over an inch wider than what I was running. Mine was 10.8". The 305/55's are 12". That being said I still think you'll be ok. I bought the 2.5" level kit but only used the bottom strut spacer which gave me 2" of lift and I was fine with room to spare.

+1 for the Duratracs... I have 275/70/R18s on my '14 Sierra. They wear like a dream although they do have a bit of road noise, but the cabin is so quiet in the sierra IMO it doesnt matter. I had these same tires on an old Land Cruiser before and the road noise was much worse.

I know you said you're looking for 20's but just thought I would post this in case you would be looking to upgrade to larger wheels or if anyone with 17s is looking for an aggressive tire. These Wrangler Authorities that you can buy at Walmart are actually pretty beefy and have read several good reviews on tread wear and performance.

Also, I havent read every post of this thread, but why are you looking for the most aggressive AT tire, as opposed to just buying a MT?

Price isnt much different

Road noise isnt much different

Sizing isnt much different

Im running pro comp AT's very open and aggressive. Piss poor for traction though anywhere but mud. Throw rocks the size of a testicle. Would not recommend.
