2015 GMC Sierra Denali frame damage

I purchased a 2015 GMC Sierra Denali new in Nov 2015, less than 4 weeks after I purchased it I was hit by someone who ran a red light. I have $23,000 in damage and almost 3 months later I my truck is still being repaired. The truck has less than 3,000 miles and the insurance company wont total it out because it is not at the 75% mark. I do not want the truck and asked my insurance company to take the truck back and I am willing to lose the money I put down on the truck and they refused. I decided to go through my own insurance company because the other drivers insurance company is a smaller insurance company and I didn't want to go through the head aches. I just feel really unsafe because my new truck has frame damage and even though they replaced it, I am not comfortable with at all. I even considered trading it in when it gets finished but I have been told that I will lose 10-12K because it now has a replaced frame and its been in a accident. I purchased this truck as a retirement gift to myself and now my retirement gift isn't a real retirement gift after 23K in damages. What can I do? I don't want the truck and I want the insurance company to total it out because it was new when I purchased it and now its a fixed up truck with a replacement frame. All of the parts are Original GMC parts but I am still uneasy.

I would read through this thread. Nearly the exact same situation just a few weeks ago. Read the entire thing and you will gain a lot of info and insight.
