Fox 2.0 - before and after results... W/Aluminum arms

I know there has been a lot of confusion here regarding the fox 2.0 coilovers, especially for the aluminum arm guys. Hopefully this will help clear things up for everyone.

 

My 2014 has the aluminum arms, I put on a set of Fox 2.0's this weekend and they worked as advertised!

 

I originally had the RC 2" spacer installed, I removed these and put the Fox set up on.

 

After the initial install, the fox set gave me about 3"-3.25" of total lift but settled at little over 2" total lift after a couple of days.

 

My fender measurements before the Fox set was right under 39" and now right over 39" with the Fox installed, working on trying to upload pics from my phone.

 

I have NO clearance issues at all either, the fitment is great and the ride is amazing! It's a night and day difference between the stock setup with rc 2" vs the Fox set. Not only is it smoother on road but it soaks up any bumps thrown at it. I haven't spent much time off road with it this weekend but the little I did I noticed a big difference as well.

In for pics. Curious how much did the setup cost and what did you get? I am looking for a suspension as well. Either fox, king or icon. I'm leaning to icon but I heard all three are great and will give me a better ride while also giving me a little lift / level to the truck.

Yea I was surprised as well but even when they were first put on with the 3" of lift the arms still had clearance.

 

They did make a new version, per my older posts they have a new revision out for the aluminum arm trucks. I gained an extra .25" over the rc 2" kit... And of course a 100X better ride.

I got the Fox 2.0 setup, they retail for $430/ea. The ride is great, no complaints at all and the lift was as advertised after settiling.

Part number 985-02-018

 

Make sure and order directly from Fox, there are still some vendors with the older revision in stock that have the same part number. They won't know if they are the latest rev, fox kept the part number the same and there is no way of knowing without them taking the whole shock apart.

I don't understand why in the hell if they were working on this revision they wouldn't have just exchanged mine for me when I sent them in instead of cranking up the pre load and just sending them back to me. Obviously they knew there was an issue with the design.

Nice. I'll need a pic to see how it stands. Did you just get work done on the front or also on the rear?

 

I was looking at the stage 2 icon which replaced both ends.

In the rear I put the pro comp Pro runners, they are great!

 

I'll get pics up today of the Fox setup and measurements once I get home to my computer.

Yeah I agree, I don't understand this. I want these, but I'm afraid to take the plunge and they not work out.

I did a lot of research before I purchased. The early versions didn't work with the aluminum arms, but the latest version works perfect!

 

As you can see above, they gave me just a little more lift than the RC 2" and my arms have plenty of room/space, The ride is amazing as well.

 

As stated above, my advice is to buy directly from Fox to ensure you get the latest version and not one that has been sitting at a vendors warehouse.
