Just ordered my catless American Racing Headers to go with the Borla Atak.. I know the neighbors will love me haha

I made my own Borla cat back, and it sounds nice I used the 40085 XR1 race muffler.

 

 

What kit did you use for the piping?

Any difference between the GM borla dual exhaust and the borla exhaust i get from any other website? Will it still sound as rich and loud the GM exhaust?

The GM one has a flapper valve in it. One from Borla doesn't.

Cool thanks, the dealership owes me for my troubles and told me they could get it at cost for me. Well he will speak to his manager about it on monday. So i might go that route if that is the case.

"cost" at the dealer isn't really that great. Their quote at their "cost" for the bed leds are $135. Mine from my old work was $114.

 

My dad bought his truck brand new and they quoted him the 135 at their cost. Got him the lights at my works cost, and he called them bitching about the price. They apologized and made his first payment for him.

I have been thinking about getting the Borla ATAK Cat back for my new 16 Sierra Elevation but am new to what's good and what's not.

Just curious how you like yours and why such a big difference in price from say a Flowmaster to the Borla ATAK.

Stay away from the flowmaster as it will not gain anything power wise if anything it will cost you.

 

The Borla Atak on its own sounded really good to me and and I liked it a lot.

 

Just installed the long tube headers and now it is just obnoxious.
