AZ_SS Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 I am planning on replacing all the speakers in my 2016 RCSB truck and have come across an issue. I am being told two different sizes for the rear speakers. So if someone could tell me the sizes for all 6 speakers I would really appreciate it.
GRN69CHV Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Front Door = 6x9 Rear Door (Double Cab and Crew Cab) = 6.5" Dash = 2.75" (approx) Dash speaker is the problem child in these. My DC got Alpine Ty-R 6x9's in front doors, Alpine 6.5" components spilt between rear door and the dash. I still intend to expiriment with the dash once the weather is nice and warm here. Won't recopy it all here, you can search for dash speakers.
AZ_SS Posted April 10, 2016 Author Posted April 10, 2016 You wouldn't happen to know the size of the ones in the rear corners by the head rests in the regular cabs would you.
GRN69CHV Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Easiest way is to pull the panel off and see for yourself what's in there. Personally, I'd start with the front door speakers only. If running the stock head unit, don't go overboard with power hungry speakers. My honest opinion? Best bang for the buck is to add a small powered sub and install BassBlockers on the front and rear speakers (dash speakers already have a cross over).
Josh_perry24 Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 AZ_SS, replaced mine last year. Pretty sure they're 4×6. I put 4" Fosgates back there.
