hey guys,

I am new to the forum. I have a problem and I need help. I have a 2012 standard cab Silverado, base model nothing fancy. I bought a new radio to replace the factory model. installed new radio and nothing works.....I then tried the old radio and nothing works???? I don't know what has happen but I need some help please. Does anyone have a wiring diagram of the factory radio harness???

I know your post is from a while ago but I joined not that long ago. When you say nothing you literally mean no power or no sound.

Make and model of the radio would help.

Also I assume you didn't cut the factory harness out and then try and rewire?

If you bought a wiring harness to adapt it to the factory harness which harness did you buy?

Does anything else in the vehicle no longer work?

Lastly did you check the 2 radio fuses?
