Last day to order a 2016?

Wondering if anybody knew the last day when we could order a 2016? Thinking about waiting to see what changes are made for the 2017 before I order.

Thanks! Looks like I have about a week to decide since I am wanting a crew cab. I wish I knew of any changes coming for the 17's.

Maybe a refined front end,

Oh wait never mind ;o)~

Won't happen. K2 trucks are on their way out. mid life enhancements have already been done. The new K2 replacement truck will be here shortly.

Would think the max in changes would be adding/deleting a paint color or two, tweaking android/apple auto system & a price increase.

The only other thing I have read as speculation is 8 speed trans across the board. But kind of thinking that is more hopeful or suggestive by a blog site.

Fleet and dealer build out dates are different and often change a week or two. For dealers it has normally been July as I recall. Last year it was extended into August because the 16 was delayed, I know because I had an order pending. Why not ask a dealer, not a salesman but the person that orders for the dealership.

They quit taking orders when the production calender is full up to the planned changeover date.

Typically, changeover is late July. Last year it was a couple months later.

If they are doing a platform change (as opposed to a refresh) a lot more work is required and the change is often staggered, so the date can depend on which truck version.

My dealer notified me today that May 11th would be the last day he could place an order for a crew cab. He also said the 6.2l is still on constraint and may not be able to get it. Haven't heard about 2017 changes yet.

I'm a new guy here that is looking to get my first GM pickup. 6.2l is a "gotta have". One little thing that I have gotten used to with my vehicles is push button start and touching the door handle to unlock and open the door. I was surprised to find out the GM trucks still need a key. I may wait for 2017 in hopes the trucks will at least get a push button start. I've gotten used to not needing to dig my keys and fob out of my pocket. Knowing build out for 2016 isn't too far off, I might wait. Loosing some year-end rebates to get push button start would be worth it for me.

'17 order guide is out.

No keyless start on the pickups (but it is on SLT and Denali versions of Yukon and Yukon XL)
