My wheels arrived and I'm on the fence with rubber. I'm currently running nitto Terra grapplers in 305/55/20, going up to 35/12.5/20, and like a more aggressive looking tread, and sidewall. I'm down to:

Toyo RT

Nitto trail grappler

Copper discovery st maxx

Thank you in advance for your experience

Congratulations on your wheels. I would probably go for the Toyo or Cooper before the Nitto. Every truck I see with Nitto's are worn down and a friend got only 22K miles on his 2500HD with a set of Terra Grapplers. Good luck and post some pics once your wheels and tires are mounted.

As far as rubber, my brother has two truck and he's run coopers on both of them. Just the ST's so not quite as aggressive but they did great for him.

I ran Nitto Terra Grapplers on my last truck and was pleased with them. They wore evenly, handled expectedly and I got 60000 miles out of them. I only wish they had come in white lettered sidewalls.

My brother has Terra Grapplers on a 3/4 ton with 60K on the tires. He just had Trail Grapplers 35X12.50 20's mounted on his Black Widow & those are very looking. 4 Wheel Network was impressed with the Cooper Discoverer STT Pro.

i got over over 50k on my nittos trail grapplers, still had alot of life left on them when i sold my Jeep. Now i've never used them on a pickup but my Jeep wasnt as light as you would think, just shy of 5k pounds, pretty heavy for a 2door but it had metal bumpers, custom roll cage, tools, power windows/locks and all the wiring that the newer jeeps have that make them heavier. Just remember to rotate them every 2 or 3 oil changes and they'll last a while and dont do smoky burnouts lol.

Thanks, do the trail grappler's ride decent? That's the aggressive look I want, but don't want to sacrifice highway ride. I'm on highway 80mph everyday.

I had E rated tires on the Jeep so they were a little stiff, not like a jeep is a cadillac anyway, but otherwise smooth. They were a little noisy but not unbearable, even with the top and doors removed.

Thank you. I'm in Florida, tge asphalt gets pretty hot here in the summer, I might just go with the toyo rt's. Love the look of the trail grappler's, but I think the hot blacktop will chew them up too quick.
