2015 Sierra Turn Signal switch

I have a 2015 1500 Sierra, and I need to know the part number for the turn signal switch. My indicator lever snapped off, and my dealer refuses to fix it under warranty. I assume I need to replace the entire switch assembly. Any help would be appreciated.

I think what you need to do is replace your dealer with a new one. Go somewhere else if it's under warranty!

Correct, they are somewhat a pain since the wiring loom goes down thru the column. On one of my previous vehicles you had to take most of the column apart to change it out.

Yup that's the part I need. I let someone borrow my truck, who has never driven a truck before. They pulled down on the turn signal lever, instead of the gear selector and the turn signal never had a chance. It snapped clean off.

Good deal. I'm waiting for when I do that to my wife's wiper arm (it is located where gear shift is on my truck).

This is not a dealer issue, trying to stick them with fixing it under warranty for something you broke is part of the reason what is wrong with american today and the sense of entitlement (not to mention another reason costs are going up). You broke it you fix it; if it failed then it is on them.

Sounds like the OP knows and is working to correct, good on him...

I only asked the dealer if they would address the broken TSS, and the service guy politely told me no. The truck was already at the dealer getting the 4x4 serviced so it didn't hurt to ask. The parts cheap enough, and the person who broke it said they would pay for it, but since it's so cheap I'm not worried about it.

If it's anything like the lever on my old truck, a '98, it's a PITA to replace. It was awhile back, but what made it a pain was that it was maybe 1 or 2 screws that was hard to get to. I do remember having to take the whole plastic upper and lower column off or at least loose to be able to move.

Can't blame you for asking...never know and doesn't cost a thing to ask. :)

I've replaced stuff like this before. You will probably need to take column apart and you may need special bits for the screws, but lever should unplug from harness. Agreed - it is a pain in the arse.

I have plenty of tools, I replaced a TSS in my 94 Cutlass Supreme years ago, and that was a pain, but I got it done.
