10 weeks in....no build date

Talked to my dealer and turns out the truck hit code 3000 yesterday. Finally, some good news! I also talked to them about the IO5 radio situation (I downgraded from IO6 to IO5 since I will use the carplay nav only) and they are gonna contact GM and make sure my truck isnt affected (or change to an IO6 if need be). Here's hoping that the truck doesn't show up with a carplay-less IO5, because carplay was one of the deciding factors for me going with this truck.

I ordered my truck at the dealer on April 18. My build date is set for the week of June 6th. I'm hoping to get it by the end of June. BTW, I got the 6.2 as well.

As for the whole apple carplay/Android Auto thing, I literally just got off the phone with Chevrolet an hour ago. And it is decided by the navigation. Trucks ordered with the nav won't be affected. Only ones without nav.

Once the order hits 3000, changes can no longer be done.

3000, Order accepted by production control (This is the response from production to your 2500 status and is when Parts are actually ordered. No further changes can be made to your order once you reach this point.) TPW usually available Now.

When did you get told your build date? I ordered mine on April 25th. Exactly a week after you and mine is still at 1100. Hopefully Monday they'll give me a date.

Lucky me, I ordered mine purposefully without Nav (IO5) since the CarPlay would handle that...here's hoping my parts were ordered before this became an issue

Since I'm still at 1100 it looks like the best option would be to upgrade to the nav(IO6) to avoid losing the CarPlay. Going to talk to my dealer tomorrow about this and change my order if need be.

I almost did the same thing. My intention was to get no nav and use Google maps through android auto. But then at the last minute I added in the nav mainly because I figured it would be good for resale value down the road and just in case there's connectivity issues with the android auto.

I would talk to your dealer. Hopefully they can swap out the module and update the my link system so you can use the apple carplay if it's affected by this.
