My truck has arrived!

Congrats.. soooo. any plans for mods?

Rear blocks and either the 2" or 2.5 R/C level kit. Proper mud flaps, ladder rack (got to figure out what to do with those plastic rail caps-I thought the liner came over the top like a Linex spray), get rid of the steps and front air dam, and eventually some BFG's. Truck had 7 kilometers on it when I picked it up. Drives great. I'll take it easy as per the manual, but I sure can't wait to slam that loud pedal down.

Don't break it in like the manual! Slam the loud pedal down this morning on your way to work!

No, it's a 2016 1500 SLT All Terrain, 6.2l, sunroof full load. I got it for $55k CAN with tax came to $60K. Configure identical trucks on GM.ca/com convert the currency and the Canadian trucks will be cheaper for some reason.

great color choice. I had a 14 ruby red and traded for a 15 black. Love the black but what a pain to keep clean.

My last truck was black. Pain to keep clean but a beauty when she was.

Is that shark fin cover OEM?

All Terrain and Denali have paint matched bumpers and shark fins.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I think the color matched fin is just on Denali and High Country and I believe it's new to 2016...on the 1500 truck platform anyways...

Tallspawn, did the dealer mount that plate? its drilled and riveted I told my dealer if they installed it, they would be buying a new front chrome lower grill. IMO its better without the plate. I am also in TX no issues so far for the last 4 vehicles over the last 12 years.

Hey camcamaro, they did install the bracket but I haven't really looked to see how it's attached. I will take a look . I've been very tempted to try without a front plate but figured it'd be a hassle. I wonder how they are about it in the Austin area....
