Two 5.3s In The Family

Hi everyone,

I made my account awhile back but to my knowledge never posted on here, but with my recent purchase I figure the time is right. Some quick backstory, we've always had trucks in family be they pickups or Yukon XLs / Yukons. We wound up getting away from that for awhile until the 2014 GM pickups were released, my dad got interested and eventually picked up a brand new '14 Sierra All Terrain SLT crew cab. Put it to good use around here, and went out West twice in it, we couldn't have imagined a more capable or comfy vehicle to knock out 16 hour drives on the interstates in.

Fast forward to this past December, I graduated college, started working, and decided I would act on my longstanding desire to have one of these for myself. I was facing some upcoming preventative maintenance in my VW and we live down a dirt road that is tricky in the winter for cars. So after much searching I finally found the right truck, a '15 Silverado LT Double Cab 4x4 with 12,100 miles on it at a local carmax. Brought it home a week ago today (the same day I found it) and have been loving every minute with it.

Anyway that's about all I've got, here's a pic to make up for all the reading. Looking forward to finally bouncing around the forums as an owner.
