Black door panel shoe marks....

Good morning guys,

I have a 2014 Silverado and I was watching some YouTube videos out there of various techniques of removing shoe scuffs from the bottom of the drivers door panel. I tried removing the scuffs with alittle bit of pumice orange hand cleaner and going over with an interior dressing. Now what I have is a chalked out surface with a white hue and cannot get rid of it to save my life... Not too happy at the moment, any ideas out there? Thanks!

Use an APC and a tooth brush and agitate the scuffs to see if they come off. Then follow up with a conditioner/dressing. I like Adam's SVRT.

Thanks for the reply, someone said to hit the white chalked surface with a heat gun but I didn't want to do that. I can't believe that it had the reaction to the hand cleaner like it did lol

Heat gun would work just be VERY careful. Goes from "fixed" to flames in a heartbeat.
