Scan Tool Recommendation for K2XX

In looking self-diagnose an issue on my vehicle, I am attempting to research a scan tool that supports K2XX platform, specifically 2015 Yukon.

 

 

Does anyone have a recommendation on something that has worked well for them? I am looking for something handheld so that I can hold/view while driving if necessary to monitor stats of the vehicle. Trying to diagnose a shudder and road vibration.

 

I've looked at GM Tech 2 but it seems to elude it may not be sufficient for vehicles after 2013.

From what I'm reading, I need GDS2 if I want to go the OEM route. Not too much use on the market for 2015 and don't have access to much of anything else other than code reader to try.
