geayala Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Just purchased a 2016 silverado and would like to get a leveling kit, however, I noticed there are 2, 2.5, and 3 inch kits. Which one will actually level the front to look like the rear? Any brand suggestions. Thanks, George
RyanbabZ71 Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 you may want to have a look here. Should have everything you are looking for. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/153363-2014-leveling-kits/
ChrisTronyxYocum Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 In addition to the Leveling Kits thread that Ryan linked you to, I would also take a good look at the Bilstein Shocks thread: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/168860-bilstein-shocks-thread/ Can level out the truck, for the most part, leaving just a bit of rake left, while upgrading the shocks at the same time. Two birds, one stone kinda deal.
Aldila Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 You have to decide what look you prefer. Everyone is different. I have a 2 inch and hate the look. IMO, these trucks need 2.5 to look level in my eye, but I'm picky as all get out and hate rake. Take a look at some pics and choose which look YOU like best.
