nice looking rig.

Your truck has the wheels I wished mine had come with. It's not that I don't like the (shiny chrome) ones I have, I just like the others (yours) better.

Just like arseholes everyone has an opnion and I poop too so.....

Look at the Nitto Terra Grappler which is a LT tire with all weather rating (no swapping in the winter) it comes in a wide range of sizes which is a plus. I am going with this one and it has lots of great independent reviews. It all depends what your want it to do most, more road or more off road.

If you get a tire rated as a Mud tire like Nitto Trail Grappler or some of the suggestions above it will not be good in the winter and you may find yourself spending another buttload on a 2nd set of rubber. If keeping stock rim and removing the tires you just swap them back n forth but costly to keep doing that. Just something to consider unless you never see snow.

I love my Nitto trail grapplers - mine seem to do fine in the winter. I've got 12,000 miles so far and they look new.

As they are rated as a MUD tire they do not have an All season/weather rating. Would not pass inspection in winter and here in BC they routinely check people tires like a checkstop in the winter. Still saying that, they are really just trying to get the worst of worst off the road so probably would not look twice at a GM with these. I was tossed up between the two and this was pointed out to me so just passing it along.

One is not better than the other, just comes down to your use.

The Terra Grappler® all-terrain tire works year-round with a balance of wet and dry performance and on-road comfort and quietness. Designed for use on trucks and SUVs, the Terra Grappler® All Terrain provides balanced performance in all weather conditions over various terrains.

The Trail Grappler® M/T blends some of the performance of the Mud Grappler® with the on-road comfort of the Terra Grappler® to create an off-road tire that is both aggressive and quiet. For off-road performance, the 3-ply sidewall and thick rubber construction increase puncture resistance. On the tread surface, the blocks provide additional biting edges that command lateral stability and enhance forward traction. For on-road comfort, Nitto’s engineers used advanced sound analysis equipment to systematically reduce noise levels commonly associated with off-road tires for a quieter drive.

P.S. How is the road noise on the TRAIL Grapplers compared to stock if you remember?

The trail graps aren't bad at all. I mean compared to stock you hear them but I can't stand the stock tires. I use my phone on Bluetooth all the time and have asked if people hear road noise and not one person has ever said they notice it. I will likely buy them again!
