Looking for a little input I currently have a 2014 Silverado LT Z71 with 32k miles and I love her and have had zero issues. Upgrades are grabber AT2s , bed rug, bed cover, 2inch RC level. I'm looking to turn the bed of my truck into a camper setup by buying a cap and building s bed frame and storage for off-road trail camping and such. I currently owe about 30k on her and I'm debating on buying the shell and building her into my off-road truck camper or trading her in for a 2016 and building that one into a bed camper. Why should I or why should I not keep or trade.

I'd go around, and see what you get on trade in. I usually get their best deal straight out first then tell them I want to trade. Worst case you still have a great truck.

What do you think? You are making the financial decision. Personally why add more payment just to trash a new truck off road, I would keep what you have and go with it.

How are your finances? You will be either increasing your payment and extending it.

What are you looking to gain with a 2016?

Good luckin truck - I like the color. If you are problem free then you are set - new one could be less reliable (although I have never had an issue with my gm trucks). Throw on the topper and enjoy...
