Back after a long abscence

hey everyone.

I'm back after being gone many years

I was a member here back about 2005 when I bought my first new GM truck. I kind of lost track and you know how life gets in the way of things sometimes. I actually traded that Silverado 1500 Extended Cab for a 2008 Crew Cab and drove it till 2012

I then went over to the dark side and bought an F150 Super Crew 4X4. At 20K had the engine start knocking and they had to repace the whole short block. I ended up putting 75K on it and it was out of warranty and I just didn't feel like keeping it any longer. The local Ford dealership's service dept is absolutley horrible.

So when GM offered 20% off MSRP I started looking at another Chevy and ended up with a 2016 Crew Cab 4X4 Z71

I love the truck and I want to get back on here and start reading and particpating in the topics.

Within 48 Hours of owning it I had a snap in bed liner, front and rear over the hump WeatherTech mats, Auto Ventshades, a GM under rear set storage bin, similar to the Du Ha I had in the Ford, and I traded the new street tread tires that came on it for some AT tires at the local Discount Tire.

I am still learning all it can do, electronics wise.
