Yeah sorry about the confusion. Yes both have door cup holders but only crew has the drop down portion in the seat.

Simple for me, nobody in my truck is allowed to ... slide out of my seats when exiting!

how do you enforce that?

1. The GM power running boards really do help, seriously force you to step on them otherwise its a long way over and down.

2. Everyone gets verbally warning, they don't listen they don't get ride anymore they ride in the 1997 reg cab with a bench seat, with no A/C... trust me they will be begging to ride in the Denali esp here in TX.

They always have the choice to ride in the canopy with the dog if they want to act like savages!

*On a side note I would like a good aftermarket / cheap cup holder alternative for the front with bench seat if anyone has a good one. Like to have my babeses squeeze up beside me but my door is already full of wet wipes and a lil garbage basket.

Not sure if it will help, but I put a storage bin on the floor hump.

Fits perfect and gives me 2 more cupholders (for cups that won't leak if they fall over). Of course she won't be able to put her feet on the floor when squeezed over.

Seriously? The crew cab doesn't have cup holders in the door? This might have officially written a Sierra out of my next truck search. I'll have 3 kids in the back so using the flip down cup holders isn't an option.

If this is true, looks like my next truck will be a Ford since the F150 has proper cupholders in the back of the center console, right above the rear air vents. Before hearing this I was leaning 70% towards a Sierra.

Amazing what things have come to. I remember when there was no such thing as cup holders but vehicles sold like crazy any way.

Some of ya'll must be a ton of fun to ride with! Do they have to eat some gum or mints first to so their breath smells good before breathing in your truck? :rollin:

Tyler

Yeah really! I wonder if everyone has to remove their shoes before entering the truck.

Yeah, yeah, I remember when "trucks were trucks" too, and if you wanted to fit 6 people inside they had to sit on each other's laps on the bench seat because there was no such thing as a rear seat!

Back in my day before they invented the wheel cars sales took a huge hit.
