Will a 1500 Tonneau Fit a 2500??

Hey all,

 

I'm planning to trade my 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 Standard bed (6'6") for a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Standard bed (6'6") tomorrow.

 

Anyone know if my Undercover SE Tonneau cover will fit??

I don't see why not. It should have the same exact bed.

Double check the part number on some websites, like Autoanything.

They appear to have different part numbers, which is why I'm asking. More specifically it appears to differentiate between GMC and Chevrolet. UC1146 vs. UC1126. I can't determine why though.

I have a Fold A Cover G4 Elite that I moved from a 2014 Silverado to a 2015 Silverado 2500HD with no issues. The part numbers were different as well, so I called them. The rep told me the covers are the same, but the part number is different so the system will have a different part number for the HD trucks.

Wrapped up the deal on the 2500 this afternoon. The bed rug fits. I'll try the tonneau in the next day or so and try to remember to report back.
