Thinking about what to put in this post makes me sound old! I do not think of myself as old, so now I am depressed... Ha!

 

Been lurking a while. Registered yesterday because I am perplexed on a particular issue and wanted some insight. I also posted a few replies to other topics between then and now. Even changed my username and uploaded a profile photo.

 

Mostly a life-long GM guy. Earliest car memories are of family Oldsmobile's. Parents had many a Cutless, they still bought them after then became gutless. Then it was a few Camaro's, full-size trucks including a dually, Corvette, K5, etc, then those stupid S-10 Blazers [sigh].

 

I have personally owned 1st gen Camaro's, 4th gen Camaro's a 1st gen El Camino, and several GM trucks. We have also had/have vehicles from Ford (past), Toyota (past), Hyundai (choke-cough-choke, past), VW (past and present), Mazda (present).

 

The household currently owns a 2008 2500HD, 6.0, a 1992 1500, 5.7, a Jetta 2.5, a Jetta 2.slow Wolfsburg, a Mazda 3 hatch 6 speed, and dirt bikes of the Austrian persuasion.

 

I have bought vehicles, sold vehicles, fixed/broke/wrecked/replaced/stripped/painted just about every "type" of part at some point. I occasionally pay someone to do these things -- although I find myself willing to pay for service more now than years past.
