Which truck would you choose?

So I currently have a 2015 Silverado CC LTZ 2wd with the sport package.

Mods in my sig but I am thinking about trading on a 2016 Silverado CCLT Z71 with full console.

I would be giving up leather, power folding mirrors, sliding back glass window

If I traded I would get body color bumpers and grille, factory HID's led drl, Apple car play, wireless charging console lid, cloth seats, 4 wheel drive

My intake, bed cover, floor mats, driver assist handle would carry over and they would do a spray in liner.

The new truck msrp is 47,605 and I got them at 37890 and my trade at 34500. Good deal? It's on a 2016.

So would you do it?

Or have dealer put upgrade in the financing as well

You're doing better than most. Have you wanted 4wd since you got your 2WD?

Yeah, that is my regret but I like my truck too.

Now that my wife is done with school we are going on road trips in the winter to Colorado and New Mexico so I think I will use it and I want to start going off road a little for fun.

Oh and I would be loosing my Bose speakers and my chrome 20" wheels

You aren't losing much without the speakers.

At first it sounded like a great deal to me but you know that if a deal sounds too good.... You are getting a newer model truck but you are giving up some features that you may miss. Also, 17's are appearing so '16 is soon losing its "newness". However, 4 wheel drive is a nice option (if you use it) and sweetens the idea of a trade How many miles are on your '15? Finally, when dealing with large numbers, $3,400 sounds small but is still a lot of money for most people. If given the same temptation, I would buy new tires for my '15 and say I've actually saved my self a couple of grand!

It really all depends on how much you need or want 4-wheel drive. The price seams very good, but if you never use the 4-Wheel drive . . . :dunno:

Maybe look for a '16 with the leather, sliding windows, etc, and 4x4. Make a deal on that one. '17s are pouring in, '16 is already considered a year old now. If you wait until the year end, you could get even more off the new one. Last year there were 20% cash back deals everywhere, even on the "new" at the time '16s.

Bottom line, I wouldn't be in a hurry. If it were me, I KNOW it would drive me crazy if I traded "down" a trim level.

Warranty on the 15 is better than the 16. Keep that in mind also. I'd be glad to swap my power mirrors for the signal ones if you're gonna trade it in. Lol

Yeah I told the guy I'm holding off for now

I don't want to go down a trim level

My truck has 18000 miles btw
