I'd like to see where you found that price for under $1000.

There is a vendor on here who sells them for well under a grand. Problem is availability. Speaking of that, I received an email saying they have them in stock today.

Hit MRT up on here. They just got their Fox shipment in. I was quoted $910.

Still doesn't make sense how the Boss coilovers are more expensive than a full 2.0 setup from Fox.

One side is in.

Driver's side.

So far so good. 2 inches of lift. Check✓. Dampens way better than stock. Check✓.

I gave in and bought the Fox 2.0 set from MRT. Deal was too good to pass up.

So you got Fox & Boss coilovers? I'm confused which ones you actually got, lol.

Good to see what appears to be another quality option to level/lift our trucks. Have read the review from other site as well as Severado's so ride quality seems good. Eibach has a great reputation for building quality products and it seems the Boss kit will not be the exception. These kits have several months of testing before coming to market. Good luck and thank you for providing us another suspension alternative.

I know several people with BOSS Coilovers and rear shock set-ups that like them (in Tacoma's). The only complaints I have ever heard is sometimes the customer service through Toytec can be problematic. However you guys are not Toytec.

Lot's and lot's of Taco's run BOSS set ups. Search TacomaWorld and you can get a feel for what the folks say..

UCAs are on. I got the guys at 4WP to install them since they are Pro Comp. They got my steering wheel straight on the alignment too. Definitely made a noticeable difference in ride quality. Now I really notice how bad the rear hops. FFS

On another note. I finally found my tape measure. 39 - 1/4 front and back. Perfectly level with just the coilovers. YMMV

Your CV axle angles are great! J/K. Are you running just at 2" or is the added block there for 2.5" ? Also any feedback as why you went with that particular upper control arm?

Are they bad? I was laying on the ground of my sloped driveway when I took the shot. The BOSS coilovers are set at 2", no blocks or spacers. The Pro Comp UCAs are high quality, uniball, have a dust cover, moderately priced(about $599 but I got mine for about $450), and lifetime warranty. So price contributed to me getting them too. I'm also open to trying stuff outside of known players. Somebody has to do it, right? It's also good to have access to the people who make and sell your parts. 4WP is local and Pro Comp is their house brand. Plus you can use them on stock, leveled and lifted trucks. Unless you are running 17s then backspacing comes into play. I'm leveled and wanted to replace the stock UCAs because the rubber bushings looked like sh*t already. Hard to believe when I only have 25K on the clock.

I'll take a pic tomorrow morning of my angles for ya if that's what you need. I have both the spacers on mine for a total of 3" to clear my 35s along with the 3" BL.

I figured after having the Halolift Boss Coilovers on the truck for nearly a month I would do an updated review. I am still 100% satisfied with these. They perform great daily driving, I have not been offroad with them. The truck feels more planted when corning and just all around more stable. I have nearly 1,000 on these. No leaks, no funky noise from the front end. As I have mentioned before, I have this system set at 2.5". The truck sits level all the way around.

The other day I was to meet a friend of mine at the window store but missed the entrance. I'm no stranger to hopping curbs, I just usually hate the thud that you get when coming off the other side. This curb was essentially a 5" separator from one parking lot to another so it is an abrupt up and right back down...just like pulling over a parking block. I'm not gonna lie, it was as easy as going over a speed bump. No sharp thud, no hitting my head on the steering wheel or feeling like I just pulled my back out. It was a very smooth transition....I was hugely impressed. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the rear end with the "rough" country 2.0s that I am currently running....I felt that! But THAT problem will be remedied soon enough!

Nah, I was was commenting on CV angles ( which don't exist on his truck ) the other parts of question were serious.
