Auto Dim

OK, I've stumbled thru Google and come to the conclusion that GM did NOT offer dimming on the passenger side door mirror. My drivers mirror as well as the rear view auto dim.. I happen to like this option and would like to know if anyone has retro fitted or added dimming capibilities to the passenger side? Mine are power folding (reverse) and have blinkers. I've read that there isn't a dimming circuit run there to the mirror. So, could I get a donor harness and lengthen it from a wrecked salvage truck. Drivers would be too short so I could splice some longer wire or possible buy whatever connector is needed and run new wire? Any insight would be greatly appreciated folks. Thanks in advance for your time.

I think you will not be able to find a mirror that will dim for that side (passenger)

Find the unicorn mirror first. The rest would be easy.

If you are talking about the truck in your sig (2004) then no auto-dim was not offered on the passenger side. Starting in 2014 it is available.

Lol, yeah it hit me while driving this am.... No matter the wire I stuff other on the passenger mirror I would never find a 04 NBS 1500 dimming passenger mirror! While some folks like the tow mirrors I well anyways there's other things I would l would like to do to my truck lol.. I spoke before thinking on this one guys
