2017 Parking Brake Will Not Stay Down

Has there been any parking brake issues? Tried to use mine today and it will not stay pressed down. It's just like it's spring loaded. Works fine if you hold it down so must be something wrong with the pedal assembly.

This one works by pressing down and then releasing pressure, it should click and lock into place. Then press again to release, if it doesn't work like that then yes the pedal assembly is defective.

Yes, try TJay 74's suggestion first. It takes a little getting accustomed to if you're used to the previous version with the hand release.

Yeah I had a 2014 AT before this one. Just didn't know it were a common issue. I made an appointment to take it in Friday. I doubt they'll be able to fix it while I wait but I just want it on record before I do the lift and tires on Saturday. I'm sure they'd love to blame it on that.
