So tell me dads...would you rather go out for dinner on Father's Day or is there a favorite dish you would like you wife to cook for you?

I don't now what Timmy wants, there is going to be a car show in town on Father's Day so I think that will be fun. As for dinner...hmmm I might cook a roast. He likes my roast. I know he will want a bag of M&Ms. I'll get him that. Nic will be with his real day that day so Timmy and I will be on our own. I'm sure we will find someting to do.

Well, I'm not a father, but my wife cooks for me everyday, so it wouldn't matter too much for me. I think I just be happy to get another meal whether it was out or at home.

My idea is a bar-b-que (ribs on a grill) with tons of family around (extended family). This is probably what we will do for me and my father-in-law together, probably 20-30 people. Skeet shooting down the road that afternoon.

I saw on TV last night where some guys took their dad to the Richard Petty Driving Experience and they all 3 ran cars on the trck at the same time. That would be AWESOME if I could afford it.

For my dad I was planning on cooking some burgers and brats on the grille for him and the rest of the family.

Just my $.02

I know it may be tempting, but don't put the brats on the grill. :thumbs: Some bleeding heart will get in your business and call child protective services. Sorry bast@rds should learn how to mind their own.

.....Oooooh..Bratwurst...I get it. :thumbs:

If a home cooked meal is an every day thing then going out would be a nice change.

Are those the peanut M&M's? I can eat a bag of the 2.5 pound with no problems. :thumbs:

I'll be up north fishing a tournament for the weekend...looks like my wife gets outta doing anything that day :thumbs:

On the flip side, it's probably what I would have done anyway, regardless if I was home or not.

Well, since I will not be in town for Father's Day (he'd make me work anyways), I would recommend taking him out for dinner. Not an expensive place, but some place he loves that probable serves up large slabs of beef. Oh, and some good, old fashion lovin' would probably be best to make sure he burns up all those calories.

Just remember to get him to say: "Who's your daddy?"

:chevy::D:eek::D
