Bench seat floor storage

I have an LT with the bench seat, and I continuously look at the floor in the middle under the radio. Has anyone put some type of center console thing there. Looking for an ideas. Not looking to spend a fortune, my truck is a lease (however everyday, I contemplate buying it out at the end of the lease)

Yes, my wife. Not literally in the floor but when she rides with me we raise the console and she sits next to me.

If it wasn't for that I would have went with buckets. Or even if she was ugly... buckets... but damn she's so hot I have to keep her that close.

 

I am interested in seeing what others have done here though! Good thread

Good spot for a baseball hat and during the winter I keep my gloves there as well.

I would like to see a manual floor shift in the space! I think floor consoles look sharp but are not a good use of space. The storage space in the trucks without a console is ample. The bottom trunk, armrest storage, door pockets and two glove boxes hold pretty well all of the doo-dads I like or think I may need. I read djxn's post to my wife because we'd forgotten about the main advantage of a "bench" seat somewhere over the past 40 years together. Thanks for the reminder!
