Programmers for gassers

Been thinking about a programmer for my 2007 Sierra. was wondering if anybody had opinions on programmers like manufacturers does or don'ts do they make a difference or are they really worth it? Truck is completely stock at the moment.

blackbear and it will be worth every penny, my friend. Go visit them on their section of this site. There are no tuners out there that know the GM gas driven trucks better.

Don't waste your hard earned money on one of those 'one size fits all' cookie cutter tuners. They make a difference and you can make some extra adjustments but you are extremely limited compared to a custom tune.

Check out Black Bear Performance, the only way to go for a tune IMO. The AutoCal hand held device it what I would recommend. That way you can return to stock if necessary and still run a true custom tune, unlike the box store, mass produced tuners. Some claim to 'custom tune' using the Diablo Sport tuner but it's not comparable to what BBP can do for you.

You should do some more research. The software Lew uses far surpasses whatJustin uses as far as ability to manipulate parameters.

From what I understand the Diablo software is like hp tuners and has access to more in the tune files than efi. I'm sure the black bear is a great tune. But saying the Diablo custom tune isn't worth it isn't true. Lew does a great job and the inTune is a great unit.
