Chevy Shake

For y'all B&Ming about it by videoing the "center console"; I truly don't think y'all are being fair.

 

If'n y'all look at how the console is mounted; you'll see that it essentially cannot do anything but shake a bit driving down the road. All the vehicles I've owned prior to this Chevy.............the center console rested on the "seat" in the middle. This one doesn't. It's essentially on 2 posts above the seats with about 1-1.5" of space underneath.

 

I solved the "shaky water bottle" syndrome by putting a large folded up towel under the console/armrest................the towel much be thick enough in order for you to have to push down on the console to have it "bottom". Just the bit of support under the console helps immensely.

Yeah except our entire truck shakes like it's falling apart. My drive from Vegas to Cali yesterday was miserable. I had to pull over once because I thought my rear tire was coming lose. My driver's seat shook the entire trip. Felt like I was ontop of a clothes dryer. Not normal.
