Single sub is best or switch to a center console

center console would work, but I like the bench.  I could cut the box in half and make two separate boxes out of it, they would fit that way. lol

I'll cut the stud for the jack tools today and play around with it some more.  That middle seat belt really screws things up.

It will fit this way if i prop it up on a 2x4 to clear the middle seat belt mounting studs.

I didn't cut my stud rather I'm going to glue a small block inside the enclosure at that location and counterbore a recess to fit over it.

Too late, I already cut it.      I think I'm back on track now.

I should be able to elongate the middle seat mounting holes an little and maybe move the seat forward 1/4'' or so to gain a little more clearance too, for whatever deadener I stick behind the box.

Speaking of deadener, anyone have any experience with Luxury Liner Pro?

Yeah, i think I'm going to go with the ensolite and get a roll of MLV on amazon. The LLP is nice that it's already both pieces in one, but i like the peel and stick of the ensolite more. And it's way cheaper

Yeah you're  definitely going to appreciate the MLV on the back wall as it gets loud inside without the factory insulation! I've always used Raammat and Ensolite as well however my buddy who owns tthe local shop gave me a roll of this  Sound Skins PRO image.thumb.jpg.192ece729031fc027b5ec74e3cdf5966.jpgso Im going to use it in the doors.  It is butyl based deadener with acoustic foam already attached but it is way more expensive than Raammat and peel n stick Ensolite!

Thanks, i just need the ensolite. I've been using rockmat for the first layer. It's identical to dynomat extreme and way cheaper.

Unfortunately my code only works on the packages but  Ensolite is not that expensive anyway.

Good plan cutting around just the box  as that insulation really does reduce road noise quite a bit.

Yeah, the factory stuff works well. We change out a lot of it at work for water leaks, im going to start drying out the wet stuff and saving it lol

I have a friend that works at the dealership and he saves all kinda stuff that gets replaced under warranty or gets upgraded like mirrors. I always thought that stuff would have to get sent back but I guess not(?).

If it's warranty we hold it for 90 days, GM calls ramdom parts back in that time period. After 90 days they send you a list of parts you can scrap, all these parts must be destroyed. My dealer is really strict on this, but some things still slip through the cracks during the scrapping process ?
