Installation of factory remote start kit P/N 22997089 with pics

So I just got the gm factory remote start and mine had everything the same except it has what looks like a battery terminal hookup. Does anyone know where this would go? I have the green wire with the black tape as well as the new hood latch. Bought mine straight from dealer.

I know this is a necro, but I finally got around to installing the kit and while I knew this was a ground I wasn't sure where to terminate it.  The original post ground location description didn't make sense to me and I was looking way too far back.  This ground location is pretty much behind the front bumper, accessible from below.  I would say hope this helps others, but given this kit is no longer sold I doubt anyone will be installing these in the future.

Ok i contacted gmc for adding remote start 175 for the part but they telling me the need to program it for another 175 when I have a topdon rlink light programmer and subscription with gm, do I really need them to program it

Yes because you won't be able to contact GM Techline to have them issue calibrations for your VIN to program to make it work.
