Line-X Bedliner

Those with line-x bed liners. Trying to decide against the Premium, Pro or Platinum. The premium and plat have a UV protection for fading. And the plat and pro is a stronger material then the premium.

Trying to get some real work reviews. Fading. How's it hold up

Standard is $535

Premium is $650 UV

Pro series is $650. Stronger

Platinum is $775 pro with UV

I had the Premium done (didn't even know there was a Platinum or Pro). I think it will depend upon whether you are going to use a tonneau cover or cap on the bed - I would probably get a UV inhibitor regardless, but that is just me.

Sun/UV is nasty on everything, unfortunately there's not much you can do about it, but a UV inhibitor will at least delay the process.

I had it done on my 2003 Dodge when I bought it on 03 and its held up great....there wasn't different levels. I still have the truck for plowing. The bed has certainly dulled and faded a bit (not much) but its just as functional as it was when it was new. Unfortunately I can't say that for the rest of the truck lol

Sounds like the different levels are more for cosmetic reasons than anything else. I called the local guy who did my last 1500 for a price and he didn't offer any levels....just $499 standard bed.

Depends on the situation. My 2015 2500 is garaged when not being used for some sort of work. On any beyond local road trips, the Access tonneau cover gets spread out. So it only gets "baked" by the sun intermittently. 2 years on the standard Line-X. Still looks as good as day one. Lots of building materials, oil drums, etc hauled in the back, and still looks good as day one. The dealer thru in the Line-X job as part of the deal. In some other situation, I might have gone with the Pro version, but given the results thus far, the standard is a pretty good product on its own. Not sure in the future I would consider the higher levels, but I don't plan to get another 2500 for many, many years.
