Now What!? .. Foglight Removal

So I was trying to take out this led foglight and upon removing the power connector from the bulb and taking the bulb out ... it snapped.

 

So now its just chillin in the housing. What are my options? Should i try removing the housing myself or just go to the dealer and have them do it?

this might be a case of you get what you pay for... but if it was me i get a hanger, wrap some duct tape or gorilla tape etc. around the end and try and fish it out of there. it will definitely take a few tries and getting it lined up right but bets the dealer telling you "you need to buy a new fog light assembly" just my .02

before you do anything start here first:

remove the fog light housing , turn up-side , it might slide out , long needle nose pliers you might be able to grab it . BEFORE you buy new ???​ TO REMOVED FOG LIGHT HOUSING - TAKE A DEEP SOCKET - SLIDE IT OVER THE PLASTIC PLUG IT COMPRESS THE FINGER'S PLUSH LIGHTY OUT IT COMES . 10MM SOCKET ?? GOOD LUCK

I would try needle nose pliers or even a extending magnet pick tool? you never know, there might be some metal on the led board lol. The fog housing removal is kind of a pain from what I have heard. I have set of the morimoto XB led fog lights still waiting to be put on cause I just have not set the time aside to install them.

I took it to a buddy at a custom shop and he tried the magnet deal no go though. Gonna swing by after work and try other options

Got it out. One of the guys at the shop they removed the housing and got it out, put the stock bulb in.

 

All is good now : )
