Auto dim rear view mirror? Part#?

I can't believe how much of a difference the auto dim mirrors make at night. I also can't believe how bright headlights are behind me in this tall a$$ truck. It's crazy.

Anyway, looking for the part number for the auto dim version 2016 Silverado.

Thanks!

I know for 2014/2015 the number was 13503845. I doubt they changed it for 2016 so I would look for that one.

If you don't have an LTZ or High Country you will need to add some additional wires to make it work. Search this forum and silveradosierra.com for instructions on how to do it.

Keep in mind there are tons of GM vehicles that all use that same mirror. Cheap on eBay. I got mine for under $15 shipped.

I ended up adding it on my truck. Here is the write up to see what all is involved.

A10 Inside RearView Auto Dimming Mirror Conversion (DD8)

Keep in mind my version is how it would have come from the factory on an LTZ/SLT and higher with the auto dim circuits feeding to the driver's side mirror.

If you only care to have auto dim on the rear view mirror only and don't have the DL3 Mirror Driver Side auto dim, you should only need to add power to the rear view mirror.

The Driver Side - DL3 Mirror (Separate Upgrade), has auto dim in it as well, but is dependent on the rear view mirror and circuits to be present. The Driver's Side Door Harness will need the Auto Dim circuits added as well.

**whew... that was a lot**

I make and sell the Custom Harness needed for those that upgraded their DL8 mirrors to DL3 Mirrors and to make the Side mirrors plug and play, but that's a separate topic all together.
