Anyone got any tips on how to easily remove Plastidip? I had done my front and back bowties over a year ago and had a small knick in one from a rock, so I decided to remove it from both and re-apply. Man, what a pain in the ass it was!

Any tips for next time?

Thanks.

The more layers the better, did my while grill in about 5 layers, took about 30 minutes to remove. When it's thick it comes off easily.

Thanks for the tip. I think I'm going to do 6-7 layers this time versus the 4 I did last time. Probably make it a little more durable too.

My bumpers, grille, and rims are dipped. Do two tack coats, then 3-4 medium coats, then last one thicker coats. the last coats should be thick enough that its on the verge or running but not quite. If you do apply it too thinly, you can use goo gone and let it sit for 5 minutes (make sure it stays wet) then pressure wash it off. Go to plasti dips website and they also make a dip dissolver but its pretty much the same as goo gone.
