Turbo installation

I have a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500. I ran across a On3 70mm performance turbo and am thinking about buying it. Any advice on installing whether it's worth the hassle or not would be appreciated. What would be the correct route of action?

Would be quite the undertaking... would be pretty pricy as well... things to think about...

Need a turbo manifold / header setup

Intercooler and piping as well as couplers

Need to feed coolant and oil to the turbo which you will need to plumb in returns as well

Need Somebody to tune the ecm

Waste gate and blow off plumbing

Air filter setup for the inlet side of the snail

Down pipes and connections to existing exhaust...

If you plan to squeeze big boost into it the ring gap should be opened up

Couple steps colder on the plugs wouldn't hurt

Might need to upgrade the fuel system to support larger numbers of boost...

Alot of factors and twice as much work...but it can be done...I can tell you it will not be an easy or cheap road

The on3 kits are pretty good for the price. I would get the kit without the turbo and get a brand name turbo like precision or garret. I have seen the cheap turbos they use come apart after 10-20k miles. I've also seen some go for 30k+ and they are still fine. That would be your call to use their turbo or not.

It's not too big of a install. It's basic bolt up then you will need address supporting mods like fuel system and have a really good ECM tuner. I'd say do it.

I was looking at these for my '15 camaro 1LE
