Need some tech help here. Lost Bluetooth phone calls?

Currently having an issue I can't figure out. My phone (Motorola Droid 2) connects to the truck via Bluetooth like it always has. But now, suddenly, when I make a call or take a call, the conversation no longer goes through my truck speakers or microphone! Can't figure this out. I've tried uninstalling the Intellilink, the phone app, and rebooted the phone several times. Still have the issue. We did recently purchase a 2016 Impala, and my phone app will remote start both vehicles, etc. I have no idea if this has any bearing on the issue or not. Anyone have any idea's? Not being able to make handsfree calls is driving me nuts! Everything else seems to work fine, such as Pandora. Thanks in advance for any help/ideas you might have.

After searching for an answer on Google, I found another forum where a member said that he was experiencing the same issue. He turned on NFC in settings, and the problem went away. He did not know why this would affect it, but it did. So, I turned on NFC last night. On the way to work today, the issue is gone. I have no idea why this fixes the problem, but it apparently does. Weird...

For anyone who may have a similar issue also check your media volume on your phone. Not the call volume but specifically media. When you are connected over Bluetooth the media volume being turned down can be an issue on some phones.
