Waze and Apple Car Play

Hey all,

 

Just wondering if there is anyway to hack or figure out how to broadcast the Waze app onto the chevy MyLink screen. I like using Waze a lot more than the Maps app for iPhone. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

i dont think you can... you'd think carplay would mirror your whole phone, not just the apple apps... ..

It is only possible if you jailbreak your iPhone.

If you do jailbreak your iPhone there is a free app called NGXPlay that lets you use ALL APPS on your iPhone on CarPlay.

Yeah I jailbroke my 11.2.1 and come to find out the NGXPlay is only up to 9.0 so far, so now I have to wait. GRRRRR

iOS 12 is supposed to add compatibility for more apps, Waze is one of them.
