Had a mocking bird once (HATEFUL creature) who would shit all over anything in one area of the driveway. Would even divebomb you if you walked through there. He considered it his territory.

 

I slaughtered him in full view of my wife and children. Life lesson.

i had this same problem with red-winged blackbirds. I researched and found out they want to fight the bird they see in the reflection of your mirrors and windows. You are probably parking very close to their nest. If you can't move your truck, and you are folding your mirrors in already, not much else you can do.

 

It should only last several weeks until they are done nesting. after that, they leave you alone. I ended up tying plastic shopping bags over my mirrors when i parked and that put an end to it. you can also try parking the other way- it looks like you backed in. try pulling in forward.

I looked in his black little eyes, he has hate in his hart. This bird is a ford bird. Only targets my chevy.

Man thats funny. My wife had the same issue. She had a metallic white lexus gx460 and a bird at work would crap on the mirror everyday and fight itself in the mirror. Scratched it all up. Did not matter if she closed the mirror. We traded it recently for a silver 4runner and no more problem. Guess the bird liked that color.

Get a big fake rubber snake and lay it top of your truck.?. Not a small one or another bird will just grab it carry it away. I had the same problem and had to cover my mirrors up with Wally World bags every day on a truck of mine. Or get you some of that thick,large black bonding tape like they use to repair body damage at NASCAR. Secure it upside with masking tape. That bird looks like a prick. I think he's just asking for it. Kinda like when I catch a mouse on a sticky trap. Then he'd have a date with my old rubber mallet. Flatten his ass into a book marker. Who's the Boss, you or that bird? Lol
