If I change the oil at 5000 miles I'll use the Delco or NAPA Gold. If I want to go off of the change oil reminder, which usually gets me to around 8000 miles, I'll use the Napa Platinum.

ACDelco filters are made by Champion Labs...along with a lot of other brands...

 

you can google it, and there are some threads in BOBISTHEOILGUY about it...

Yup, Champion & Wix make great filters for many brands.

AC Delco filters are now E-Core and they suck. There is plenty of info over at BITOG that shows they are horrible. I wouldn't trust my engine with one. I use Wix, Mobil 1, or Fram XG...all solid filters that show solid construction when torn open after a run.

Some I'm not sure could be anything but an eCore...the 2.4l cartridge is a good example.

ac delco for now with M1..eventually i'll switch to an M1 filter also
