Zone 4.5/6.5 Kit on 2WD - Install Costs and Tampa Area Shops

Hey all!

Got a quote for installation of this kit with alignment for ~$1,000. Not including the cost of the kit, obviously. Does that seem reasonable? Also, anyone know of any good shops in the Tampa Area that do good work at reasonable prices? Would like to get a couple quotes to work with.

Thanks!

I paid $900 for my zone 6.5 install, that included mounting and balancing of new wheels and tires, new valve stems, relocating of previous tpms to new wheels, resetting the tpms to the Chevy computer, wheel alignment and new black lug nuts. This was in California where everything is marked up by at least 30%

I'm in Tampa. Sounds like a Mad Max price quote? They're a bit pricey. I'd search around some. Tough because there aren't many options here.

I had a buddy just get a leveling kit/wheels put on by tampa off road center (116 W Hillsborough Ave, Tampa, FL 33604) and he said the price was very reasonable. There's always S&M truck world as well, I've always heard they're pretty pricey, but also that they do great work.

I am in the same boat as you. Tampa installation prices are crazy. I am getting my kit this week and plan to do the work myself. I have a lifetime alignment for my truck, so not worried about that. Keep you posted on how it goes.
