Can you change the name of it?

Yes you can. I used the OnStar app but you could also log into OnStar. Go to 4G LTE then look toward the bottom. The SSID is the name of your WiFi. Click on it and change it to what you want it to be. I would recommend not naming it something that identifies your vehicle. Black Silverado not a good idea.

Easiest way to change the name is on the myChevrolet app under the Wi-Fi Hotspot tab.
