Plastic piece under bumper?

Can you remove the big plastic thing under the bumper on a 2016 Silverado 2500HD? Does anyone have any pictures if you can? Its kind of ugly and id like to remove it if its easy to do.

  Didn't I read where if Gm does the valve body on the "Allison", you get a 10yr/150k warranty? Kinda wish mine has a minor blip around 24k. Get a free trans service, and a pile of warranty.
