What holster are you using?

Recently upgraded to a '17 Denali and looking for a good holster for my handgun while I'm driving. I don't want to drill holes into my truck so looking at what you guys are working with and best locations. I preferably want something that I can integrate with the console, but not a show stopper. Suggestions?

I recently got a Glock 19 and was pondering the same question for my '14 Denali.

Then I slipped the gun into the long pocket on the side of the console by my right knee. It fits perfectly. Best for me was slide down, gun pointed toward back of truck. Makes for an easy draw from the drivers seat.

I bought a sheet of kydex to fabricate a basic cover for concealment and easily slides away. Currently have folded a cardboard that is serving the same purpose.

Extra magazine sits in a Blackhawk kydex belt clip that clips onto the same pockets closest to where my seatbelt buckles

Hope this helps. Easy/fast access and very concealed

Does it not slide back and forth when you're driving like you stole it?

I've generally kept my Shield 9mm or M&P 9mm on me when I'm in the truck because I haven't found a good place for it yet.

I've also considered some sort of Uncle Mike's basic rig Velcro'd to the left side of the console, right below the magazine holder and behind/right of my right ankle/calf.

Only slid once when I braked hard.

Have a cloth sitting underneath to protect the sights. And now a wooden dowel cut to length and placed in the bottom of the pocket between the pistol and the engine.

No more sliding

I have bucket seats with the console storage compartment between them.

Inside the console, at the front, there's a thin (~1.5" wide?) affixed storage compartment. I throw my extra pens, company ID, mileage notebook, etc., in there.

I have a reversible (left or right) IWB holster that has a clip on one side and a place to slide my belt through on the other.

The clip hooks perfectly on the little storage compartment.

If I get out to gas up somewhere sketchy, I lay my G23 on the seat. I have my CC permit but don't carry on my person. The storage I use is accessible enough for me but admit I'm not Quick Draw McGraw. Preplanning.

I move my cup holder to the front position of my center console and keep my M&P Shield in the open cubby hole with my spare clip.

I got mine setup where that little flip down cubby on the bottom on the center dash. I used 4 screws but you can't even notice it. I can switch different holsters for when i carry a 1911 or glock. Setup is perfect and does not get in the way. I'll have to get the brand

If you happen to get jacked by a dude with a knife, they not only get your truck, they get your piece as well.

Do you have the full center console? I have no idea where you are talking about.

It's Tim - nope. The whole point is accessibility. To me. And awareness.

I may not be able to anticipate getting struck by lightning but I'm confident I can anticipate this...

So where do you keep yours then? That is, after all, the point of the thread.
