No I checked with them and my local shop sourced it.

Was thinking about doing 3.73 gears myself. My buddy and I have V6s, but he has 3.42 and I have 3.23 and you can tell the difference especially since I have AT tires and I want to get wider ones in the coming weeks. Only thing kinda holding me back was the programming. Do you know where you're gonna get yours done at? I haven't had time to call the dealership, but they might not want to program if they don't do the swap.

I have a Diablo tuner already so I can do the gear change in that. I plan on a custom tune afterwards.

Truck is done. Feels great driving it, trying to get some miles on it so I can test it out towing. Ended up costing about 2500 with the lsd. Very happy so far.

I'm thinking of doing the same but with 3:73 also tow a 5K travel trailer. Anyone know a reputable shop in the central Va area? The wife is warming up to the idea, I'm still under warranty and will need speedometer calibration Thanks

I am glad I went with 4.10s. I was expecting a huge difference and it is not as much as I expected. Not disappointed but surprised.

A little over 300 miles driven now. 150 yesterday on hilly back roads. Truck feels good. holds speed much easier, nicer to drive. Going to change the fluids on thursday and making a trip to Alabama to pick up my daughter on Sunday. I will see what the mpg's are on the highway during that trip.

a gear swap will make a huge difference, 4.10 is perfect for the 5.3 with 33s. I actually had 4.56s and 33s on my 07 5.3 Sierra, it drove and pulled great. Parts prices that you paid seem a little steep, but if you're happy, good deal. Randy's ring and pinion ( ringpinion.com ) can get you out the door around $600 for gears only.

You're probably running right thru 1st now and right into 2nd gear.
