Thanks for the reply Nasty. 2/4 or maybe 3/5 for now. I don't want to c notch the frame just yet since i still use it for going fishing and every now and then moving my welder. But i would like to go to bags eventully

A notch wont affect hunting or fishing     do it. I even have a notch for sale. Strongest underbed notch made for these trucks modified to be even stronger:)

Its just some places for now i need the stock ground clearance. when i do notch the frame ill build it with a 4 link. I think i will have to go search the forum for people who have done the c notch. To see if they have pictures. One of my main worries with the C notch right now. Is removing the bump stops i cant think of hauling my welder with out bump stops. Do you think you could direct me to any links. That with anyone that has C notch the frame?

You realize notches do allow for bump stops right?

I just installed this kit on my 2018 regular cab 2wd. Took me all day Saturday and some of Sunday but I took my time doing it. I’m using both spacers on front

That looks very good. I've been thinking about buying the kit. Let me know how it treats you.

I bought my kit back in December of 17 and finally got around to installing it a couple of weeks ago. First impressions of the kit are that it was relatively easy to install. I had issues with the factory passenger knuckle with the upper ball joint not coming loose at all. I tried everything, I ended up having to buy an entirely new knuckle thankfully a stealership had one and it was only $95.  I am dealing with a vibration from the rear and this kit is supposed to be a smooth and easy flip kit. I am not happy about that at all.  I am in contact with the IH for some solutions.

Is that a 6.5' bed... I've read something from IHC that CC with 6.5' beds may experience vibration (can't remember where I read it, FB or a FB message from them). I've seen mostly positive reviews, TWA Motorsports on youtube did a review on the 4/6 (He's running it at 4/7). Said he took it on a 1000 mile road trip and it was the best riding kit he's ever used. He did say he noticed some loss in the turning radius.
My 18' Z71 CCSB doesn't have many options for kits, so this is what I'll probably be going with.

Yes it is a 6.5' bed.  I was told that there wouldn't be an issue. When I was doing my research on the kit I couldn't find any negative reviews and is why I went with the kit. In fact Ivan has been nothing but helpful even sending me new upper arms at no cost when a change was made in their design. I personally love the front part of the kit the ride is smooth and rides like stock.  Apparently the issue is my truck has a 2 piece driveshaft and the carrier bearing needs to move upward. It sounds like this is a known issue and should be something customers need to be made aware of. I am having a shop see if they can work some magic with shims.

Now that I'm thinking about it (and tried to find where I read it) it may not have been IHC who mentioned the possible vibration... It may have been another company's 4/6 drop that I saw that note on... In fact, I'm pretty positive i read it right on the product description section of another kit. But I would think that if the rear drop method is the same, the problem would exist for all kits.
