noJeepshere Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 Hi all, I'm Riley from the Salt Lake area in Utah, and I'm a train engineer for our local heavy rail commuter train. I recently purchased a 2014 Silverado I've named Harold, it's a crew cab standard bed with the 5.3, 3.42 gears and all the towing equipment. I originally wanted a base model WT but didn't want white, plus the base seat sits too high for my 6'4" frame, whereas the power seat drops down almost too far. This one is the LT trim with very few options, even though it's an All-Star package that had all the chrome, and I'm slowly dechroming it. I bought it to both replace my old GMC Yukon as my daily driver and tow it to Moab several times a year. I hope to get as many years of reliable service out of this as I have my Yukon, it's got 260k on the original engine and trans. And of course, everybody loves pictures

Dnt Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 Hail on brother. Looks good. You must be a member of the SMART Union (Sheet Metal Air Rail and Transportation Union)
noJeepshere Posted June 10, 2017 Author Posted June 10, 2017 Hail on brother. Looks good. You must be a member of the SMART Union (Sheet Metal Air Rail and Transportation Union) I've never heard of that, we're represented by the ATU, though that's a bit of a stretch since there's 600 bus drivers and 45 train engineers in it.
