Hailing from Utah

Hi all, I'm Riley from the Salt Lake area in Utah, and I'm a train engineer for our local heavy rail commuter train.

 

I recently purchased a 2014 Silverado I've named Harold, it's a crew cab standard bed with the 5.3, 3.42 gears and all the towing equipment. I originally wanted a base model WT but didn't want white, plus the base seat sits too high for my 6'4" frame, whereas the power seat drops down almost too far. This one is the LT trim with very few options, even though it's an All-Star package that had all the chrome, and I'm slowly dechroming it.

 

I bought it to both replace my old GMC Yukon as my daily driver and tow it to Moab several times a year. I hope to get as many years of reliable service out of this as I have my Yukon, it's got 260k on the original engine and trans.

Hey man. I grew up in Utah and now live in Maryland. My family still lives in the Ogden, salt lake, and park city areas. Good looking truck!

I've never heard of that, we're represented by the ATU, though that's a bit of a stretch since there's 600 bus drivers and 45 train engineers in it.
